Grading & Expectations All grades can be found in SchoolTools.
All Assignments can be found in Schoology
Grading consists of 4 parts:
Projects 50%
These assignments are either for a day or multiple days. Extended projects will receive grades as the project progresses.
Tests 20%
There are no retakes for tests. If someone is absent, they will need to take the test within the number of days absent.
Quizzes/Homework15%
Retakes on Quizzes are possible. A retake needs to be completed within one week of the initial quiz and on an agreed time and date between the teacher and student.
Participation 15%
A grade is given every day that corresponds to the level of effort towards the assignment and cooperation with classmates during class time. If the student is absent, they will receive a "0". This absence can be made up by completing the work missed by coming to class during a study hall (they may want a friend to show them what needs to be done.)
